Redeeming The Table
"...look in the mirror and pray for the grace, to tear off the mask, see the art of your face."
- Michael Card, The Poem of Your Life
Meet Rhonda
Welcome, welcome, welcome...
The table is a safe, held space for you to discover who you are, in community with others, and on your own behalf.
It is a table set with radical hospitality for you to come as you are.
It is your table. It is our table - because every story needs a witness.
We are better together.
Rhonda is a hostess of warriors, a story midwife, and is part of the facilitation team at the Allender Center. You can find her rescuing kittens, searching for one more cup of good coffee, or spending time with her family.
"I’m meant to be a warrior, breaking free of playing it safe. I pray Jesus shows me the courageous path and plows the road before me. I long for a place for the marginalized and fed up to gather and sit at the table and never hears, "I love you, but..."
May it be so."
